Background: Toshiba RCA Video or Toshiba RCA is a Japanese Home Video Company and a Japanese Publishing Company Since 1983.

1st logo (1983-1984)

Logo: On a black background, we see the sun that appears and the stars appear, sun and star move out and Toshiba RCA Video appears, we see the Text Toshiba in Japanese.

FX/SFX: Very good '80s CGI done by Robert Abel & Associates.

Cheesy Factor: Grammatical error: "VideoDisc" shouldn't be plural.

Music/Sounds: A soft synth heard at the beginning, which leads into a triumphant orchestral fanfare at the end.

Availablility: Rare. Used on RCA-released videodiscs only from 1982 to 1986.

Scare Factor: Minimal due to the logo zooming in at the end, but this is an absolutely wonderful logo.
