Nicknames: "Acid Trip from Hell", "What?", "Background from Hell", "Colors Everywhere", "A Truly Ugly Home Video Logo", "SuperVideo's Cousin"
Warning: Do not watch the video if you are prone to epilepsy.
Logo: The logo begins with a purple background. Several horizontal waves wipe the purple background to reveal a black background with flashing red/purple/green lights. The words KM VIDEO, written in red, slowly zoom towards the screen. After a few seconds of more flashing, the company name becomes static. The logo then switches to outer space. A rotating silvery-blue globe with the red glow and riddled with stars zooms toward the viewers. The globe becomes a red sphere of light and grows to take up the entire screen. The word presents appears on the red background.
FX/SFX: Typical Scanimate effects of the time.
Cheesy Factor: What is going on in this logo?! Everything looks like it was drenched in acid, the background is constantly spazzing out, and why does the globe that "presents" appears on look like one of the Dragon Balls? (Even though this was 4 years before) As far as '80s logos go, this one is certainly in the top tier of cheesiness.
Music/Sounds: An eerie new-age synth tune.
Availability: Ultra rare, seen on videotapes distribited by the company. Which is mainly public domain cartoons, pornography, and horror films. Most notably Escape from Hell (released as Hell Prison from KM)
Scare Factor: High to nightmare. The incomprehensibility, the hellish music, and hyper-saturated effects (of which are quite ugly). It all depends on your view of it, however. This may have been intentional due to some of their films being horror-related.
